Morning in Holland
Working at the internet department of Radio Netherlands Worldwide one of our tasks was to help journalists use digital camera’s for illustrating their stories. Most journalists thought it would take too much processing time to use pictures. Our department started a proof of concept to show differently. So in March 2000 I received the first of a series of camera’s to show that is was possible in the digital age to take a picture on my way from Amsterdam to Hilversum and to put it on the website before 10 o’clock. In the end the project lasted 12,5 years until the end of RNW old style. Every working day a picture for the growing number of sites. In 2010 I published a book with a selection of the first 10 years. See the book design section. On this spot just some pictures from 2007 and 2008.
