I live in Amsterdam-West. Radio Netherlands is situated in Hilversum-North. Most of the time I travel by car, in summer a few times by bike (35 km) and almost never by train. Somewhere in between I stop the car and look for a decent photogenic spot. Because the pictures are meant for Dutch people living abroad pictures with a nostalgic background are appreciated. I take that in account, but mostly I go my own way.
Finding a decent spot to park the car without hindering the traffic is sometimes hard. The police has sent me away twice and I recieved a ticket once since I started this project in March 2000. In the beginning I was panicking about finding spots, but now I know there is a photo opportunity everywhere.
