In September 1974 I bought an old Russian camera from a colleague at the student flat. I used this Exa500 with its 50 mm Domiplan lensand a telephoto lens until July 1976.

After a month of hard work at Schiphol Airport I became the proud owner of an Olympus OM1 which I still use every now and then.

Because of this camera I took a course Photography at the student center. Eduard de Kam, one of the main photographers of the Free University of Amsterdam proved to be a good teacher.

At the four walls of this Front Room you will find material from 1974 up till 1983.
