During holidays I always visits chapels and churches - must be something from the past.
This year 2006 was special. In November 2005 I visited an exhibition of Jan Griffioen, a photo friend on abbeys in France. It inspired me to plan my summers holiday around this theme. My new secondhand Hasselblad Biogon (a superb wide angle 6x6 camera) made the inspiration even bigger.
We visited abbeys and chapels in Fontenay, Tournus, St Julien Chapteuil (near Le Puy), Le Puy en Velay and on the end of the holiday: Ronchamps.
